I am a licensed Agency Account Manager with Access Benefits Group. I currently manage 55 accounts with a strong focus on our Washington D.C. and charter school clients. As a licensed agent, I work directly with the carriers in order to obtain competitive rates to assure that our groups are electing the most comprehensive, beneficial, and cost-effective plans for their company and employees.
I attend open enrollment client and employee meetings with the assigned Human Resources Manager in order to explain benefit plan designs to eligible employees electing coverage. Once the open enrollment period closes, I work directly with the insurance carriers and underwriters to provide the required documentation to facilitate a smooth enrollment process for the group and their employees.
Prior to working at Access Benefits Group, I was a Kindergarten Teacher. My degree is in Special Education Cognitive Impairment allows me to teach K-5 General Education and K-12 Special Education.
My husband, Jeff, and I have two adorable little boys, ages one and three. They bring so much fun and laughter into our home. Being a mom is my greatest joy!
