Steve Wargo

Director of Program Delivery
Farmington Hills, Michigan | Healthcare IT

As Director of Program Delivery for the Healthcare IT team, I am responsible for IT business development, resulting in correct staffing solutions so our customers can complete projects, or satisfy long-term IT support requirements. I currently hold the Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential from the Project Management Institute and Technical Systems and Networking certifications from Sun Microsystems, now Oracle. I am also a member of the Baker College technology advisory board. We meet quarterly to review the college’s current Information Technology offerings and advise on future learning opportunities for students pursuing IT-related degrees.

I joined Preferred Solutions in 2004 and stayed on through our merger with AccessPoint in 2014. Prior to joining AccessPoint/Preferred Solutions, I held a variety of leadership and technical roles at several well-known Information Technology Services Firms. Most notably, I led the Dell/EMC Enterprise team as Practice Manager of Business Continuity Solutions, the organization responsible for Dell/EMC Enterprise Data Storage and Management Software and Professional Services Delivery. My other technical experience comes from roles at HP/EDS, CDI Professional Services/DaimlerChrysler, and McKesson Pharmacy Systems.

Steve attended Cleary University while working in the Information Technology Field, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration attaining Magna Cum Laude with concentrations in Accounting and Computer Systems.
