I am the Director and Agent of Access Benefits Group. In my role, I oversee all operations under the Agency Department and I am also involved in benefit recommendations for clients outside of our agency. I manage the Agency team, who works directly with the medical and ancillary carriers to provide renewals to Access Benefits Group’s clients. My other responsibilities include educating the Agency team, as well as our Business Development, Benefits and HR teams on emerging benefit product lines and changes taking place in the market.
I am a licensed agent in Michigan, Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. My most notable accomplishment at AccessPoint was successfully establishing a PEO relationship with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Guardian to offer AccessPoint’s PEO clients exclusive benefits at a large group employer status. Additionally, I was able to grow AccessPoint’s Charter School Division by featuring unique benefits plans and rates.
My experience in employee group benefits spans 13 years. Prior to AccessPoint, I worked at a local agency for 10.5 years.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and our two dogs. When not with my family or friends, I dedicate time at a local fire station as a Paid-on-Call Fire Fighter/EMT, as I have done for the past seven years.
